Correspondence, business records and ledgers from construction projects and business dealings of Murphey and the Murphey-Keith Building Company in Arizona, New Mexico and Texas from 1921 to 1951. Highlights include construction projects and general support for the Civilian Conservation Corps, Civil Works Administratoin, and Defense Transportation during the Depression years and construction projects during World War II. World War II projects include military contracts and work plans for work on various military installations in Arizona and New Mexico including Fort Huachuca and Davis-Monthan. Other materials relate to the Tucson Golf and Country Club, El Conquistador Hotel, Hacienda del Sol, Saint Phillips in the Hills Church, El Merendero Tea Room, and Broadway Village Shopping Center.
